Digital Technologies Level 3 Foundation Diploma at Newham College of Further Education
The course is delivered through a series of practical workshops and classroom based lectures where you will learn about audiences and user interface. They will also use industry standard applications to develop sound editing, 3D design, HTML and coding skills.
5 GCSEs passes at grades A*-C including English and maths. or Successful completion of a Level 2 course to a published standard (for example, with a merit grade) with Functional Skills gained at level 2 in English or, where more appropriate, maths. or A recognised precursor qualification, such as BTEC Level 2 certificates, extended certificates, with a minimum of a Merit grade, or diplomas with a minimum of a Merit grade pass and Functional Skills gained at level 2 in English and/or maths, except where indicated in the table below.
The course will provide learners with the intermediary skills to pursue employment within a wide range of job roles across the Creative Industries such as Software Engineer, Website Content Manager, Computer Animator and Graphic Designer etc. It is also a useful qualification to progress onto higher education courses in Information Technology or Creative Digital Production.
