Economics A Level at West Kirby Grammar School
We currently offer A-level Economics and Business which attracts one or two teaching groups per year. The new A-level specification for September 2015 is Edexcel’s Economics B and contains both economic and business concepts.
The department has achieved 100% pass rate at A-level for the past five years; with 72% of students achieving A* - B in 2014. The department has one classroom with an interactive whiteboard and is located next to the sixth form ICT suite, which allows the department to make use of E-resources as well as tracking the world’s economic markets and news articles.
