Assessment

The course is assessed through both examination and written coursework. All units are

assessed by written examination; Units 3 and 6 are assessed by Internal Practical

assessment.

Future opportunities

A Level Physics allows progression to many Higher Education courses or to enter the

scientific, technical or engineering areas of employment. The nation is crying out for

people with a Physics background and there is a national shortage of science graduates.
