Course description

This qualification is aimed at learners who intend to progress from the Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations (Electronic) or to follow Apprenticeship and Advanced Modern Apprenticeship programmes.

Course content

Engineering health and safety Engineering principles Principles of electrical and electronic engineering Maintenance of electrical equipment and systems Power supply, analogue and digital circuit principles and fault finding Electronic power control principles and practice As part of your learning programme you will also attend the following session: Maths (Exempt if you have a minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths) English (Exempt if you have a minimum of GCSE grade C in English Language) Study Skills 1:1 Tutorials Enrichment activities

Entry requirements

Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations (Electrical or Electronic) "If you do not have a Grade A to C in English and/or Maths, you will be required to continue studying these subjects as part of your Study Programme."

Assessment

This vocational programme is assessed through online tests, workshop activities, and set assignments.
