Drama and Theatre Studies A Level at Simon Balle All-through School

Course description

This course combines the activities of exploring plays, creating theatre, performing scripted plays, analysing theatre productions and critically evaluating all these elements of drama and theatre.

Students who complete the course will have a thorough understanding of drama and theatre, and will have developed their analytical, creative and team skills. Because of the course’s performance nature, the course requires confidence, creativity and good communication skills.

Entry requirements

To study this subject you will need a minimum of grade B in Drama and C in English at GCSE or a proven record in performance.
