Business Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship at West Herts College

Course description

Our business and management apprenticeships will develop your knowledge and skills, enabling you to work in a huge variety of jobs ranging from business administration and customer service to accounting and management roles.

Course content

Depending on your area of interest and job, our apprenticeships can help you work towards your qualification while at work. You will build and develop a range of transferable skills such as problem solving, project management, organising meetings and IT and accounting.

In addition you’ll learn the key aspects of good customer service, effective communication and people management.

You’ll learn your skills at work with your employer, attending College to gain theoretical knowledge and to pass assessments. Alongside your course you’ll study English, maths and IT and learn more about employment rights and responsibilities.

Entry requirements

Employment at a suitable level - most employers ask for GCSEs in English and maths, but may have additional specific requirements.

Future opportunities

Continue at work or progress to a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship programme in a related field.
