Candidates following a course of study based on this specification for Geography can be offered opportunities to develop and generate evidence of attainment in aspects of the Key Skills of: • Communication • Application of Number • Information Technology • Working with Others • Improving own Learning and Performance • Problem Solving.
Unit 1 GEOG1 Physical and Human Geography
· Population Change and Hydrological Systems (September – January);
· Healthcare Issues and Disease and Glaciated Environments (February – May).
Unit 2 GEOG2 Geographical Skills
· The element of skills will be applied and practised in a number of lessons and activities throughout the year;
· There is no coursework element to the A Level.
Unit 3 GEOG3 Contemporary Geographical Issues.
Unit 4B GEO4B Geographical Issue Evaluation.
