AQA ACCREDITATIONS at James Rennie School Specialist Communication and Interaction College

Course description

The AQA Unit Award Scheme provides the opportunity to give students formal recognition of their success in short units of work across a wide range of subject areas, activities and experiences. The scheme is approved by AQA as a scheme for recording achievement in all non - qualification contexts and for providing interim accreditation of achievement of students following unit based Entry Level qualifications. The scheme allows the use of tailor made units written especially for a group of students (or individual student), so the student can receive the recognition for significant achievement of small steps in a variety of topic areas, activities and experiences.  We offer a large range of units for students to choose from. The following units are currently delivered here at James Rennie; PHSE Ethnic Diversity; Science -Materials in the Home; Food Technology ; Health and Safety - First Aid. Note:There may be changes in the units delivered from year to year depending on the needs of the students. All of these units are accredited by AQA.
