Hospitality Services Level 2 at Harrogate College
You will prepare for working in a range of jobs in the professional kitchen, developing a range of food preparation and cooking skills.
Units of study include:
• Health & Safety
• Food & Drink Safety
• Customer Service Skills
• Food & Drink Service Skills and styles
Level 1 in Hospitality, GCSE in Maths and English would be an advantage, Or previous experience in the hospitality industry
Students will be involved with a work placement within the industry where skills and knowledge will be assessed on the job.
No formal exams, work is assessed in a portfolio.
Maths and English GCSE or functional skills will be delivered to required individual level.
Progression can be in a range of routes:
level 3 Hospitality Supervision or onto higher level apprenticeships in hospitality
