Course content

The programme is taught in a supportive atmosphere in our recently upgraded Multimedia suite. You will have a personal tutor and be able to access the Learning Centre and Learner Services throughout the duration of the programme.

Entry requirements

  • No formal qualifications are required, but a basic knowledge of computing would be an advantage.
  • You will have a Basic Skills Assessment and must commit to developing these skills if necessary.

All places are subject to satisfactory interview.

The programme is assessed through electronic portfolios and there are no formal exams. At the end of each unit you will complete a controlled assessment project that will enable you to demonstrate the skills you have gained during the unit. As part of these projects, you will build your own electronic portfolio to showcase and submit the work you have done.

All of the units are internally assessed and externally moderated.

All units are graded and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded.
