Business and Hospitality Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma at Central Foundation Boys School
Central Foundation offers students the opportunity to study the Level 3, Cambridge Technical Qualification in Business.
The course gives students a strong grounding in the fundamentals of business management.
Students also have the opportunity to develop their own business ideas, network with business professionals and take place in work experience.
In addition to this qualification Students can also study for a BTEC Level 3 in Hospitality at the Montcalm Academy.
Designed for 16-18 year olds looking for a head start in hospitality, Central Foundation in collaboration with Montcalm Hotels, offers BTEC Level 3 in Hospitality. It’s the essential first step on a career development path that unlocks leadership potential, nurtures the next generation and shapes the future of the industry. Guaranteed work placements provide students with the unique opportunity to learn their trade in a truly vocational context.
To follow a BTEC programme we advise that you have an average GCSE point score of 5 (C) including a minimum of grade 5 (C) in both Maths and English. If you have not achieved these scores in Maths and English you may be asked to re-take these subjects at GCSE.
This course is an ideal step towards a career in various business related roles. It is a wide-ranging vocational programme which is based around practical work and considers many of the important areas of modern business. It has been designed to provide a route into business careers and a progression path to University. The award is equivalent to three A Levels.
