Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C including German (or bi-lingual)

Future opportunities

Later you might want to study... European Studies, Law, Business, Linguistics, International Politics, Cultural Studies at Higher Education. You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in German, which could lead onto higher education in German, other languages or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job related to German or European Languages such as a Teacher, Translator, or you may wish to use your German to study or work over in Germany. You could also go straight into a job as the AS GCE is a recognised qualification that will help you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers across lots of industries are looking for, especially in the travel and tourism sector.
