Bricklaying Level 2 Diploma at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education
This course provides the opportunity to develop the underpinning knowledge and skills that will prepare you for employment within the building and general construction sectors as a Bricklayer.
You will learn a broad range of bricklaying skills and techniques that make you attractive to employers in the Construction industry. You will develop your practical skills and knowledge through a range of units and learn how to construct a range of building projects. The course also covers the fundamentals of resource management and the use and maintenance of power tools and hand tools.
A Level 1 qualification in Brickwork with equivalent English and maths.
Coursework is assessed through a combination of practical workshop assessments, written assignments and end of unit exams.
You will need to purchase your own personal protective equipment for the course (PPE) approx. £30 and textbooks approx. £20.
Bricklaying (Level 3). It will also enable you to apply for an apprencticeship programme with an employer.
