Course description

20 YEARS BEING OUTSTANDING (OFSTED) The Miskin Theatre gives you the opportunity to be an actor in a working, producing Theatre Company. The Miskin gives you a professional training in a real theatre, with state of the art facilities. Course content

To be a successful actor you need be a successful human being. Working in a real theatre with real professionals in a unique atmosphere will give you that opportunity to grow. We encourage our performers to go on to drama schools and universities or into employment in the creative industries. Entry requirements

5 GCSE (A-C Grades) or equivalent. Genuine interest in performance/theatre.

Assessment

100% coursework. The course is production based and operates out of The Miskin Theatre

Financial information

Tuition Fees: 16-18 - free

19+ Advanced Learning Loan - £TBC

Exam and Registration Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): £165

Other Costs (payable by all students): £75 Annual Theatre Pass

This course may also attract additional costs, for example, kit, uniform or books, that all students will be required to pay. Please contact the College for further details.

Future opportunities

 

Level 3 Extended Diploma, other theatre related courses, Employment.

Many performers move on to major drama schools in the country including RADA, Arts Educational Schools, Bristol Old Vic, LAMDA, Rose Bruford, Guildhall, Central, Dartington, Mountview, Manchester MET, Universities of Sussex, Kent, Edinburgh and many others.
