Biology - A Level at Dinnington High School
A level Biology is a very popular and challenging course. It is suitable for students that have a keen interest in the broader topics of Biology and have career aspirations in fields such as medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy or veterinary sciences.

Must have 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths. Grade B is recommended in GCSE Biology or Additional Science. Consideration will be given to achieving a C grade on an individual basis, based on their circumstance and what is in their best interest.
End of unit exams
Suitable for progression to university studies in Biology and other related sciences.
Visits: Chester Zoo in Year 1 and Boggle Hole residential in Y2
