Studying Health and Social Care will give you a broad understanding of health, social care and early years working environments.
Health & Social Care students will learn to Communicate with others effectively in a clear and articulate manner.
Present ideas and arguments verbally in formal presentations and seminars, and informal discussions in a variety of environments.
Work with others in the preparation and presentation of group work and take responsibility for an agreed area of a shared activity.
Negotiate informally with peers and formally with members of organisations.
The course aims to give students foundation knowledge on legislation, policies and procedures within the Health and Social sector. It covers a diverse selection of topics from Sociology and Psychology to Biology to incoporate all aspects of health and development.
