Course description

The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Productions Arts will provide you with an interest in the Performing Arts the opportunity to explore, develop and test your creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding while also providing a supportive transition from general to more specialised study at degree level study and employment in the performing arts sector.

Successful completion of the Level 3 Extended Diploma leads to the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts.

 

 

 

 

Course content

The Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts builds on and extends the learning undertaken on the Level 3 Diploma course further prepares students for progression to higher education or related employment adding depth, sophistication and synthesis. There is the opportunity to explore an area of specialist study and context. All this leads to a substantial self-directed performing arts project for an appropriate audience.

On completion of the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts, you will be in a position to will progress to undergraduate study in an area related to performing and production arts or to entry-level positions in the performing arts sector.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at a minimum of Grade C including English and Mathematics and one in a Production Arts related subject or a related subject or a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject and a portfolio of relevant work.

For the Extended Diploma level, you must have successfully completed the Level 3 Diploma Production Arts.
