Environmental Studies A Level at South Devon College

Course description

During this A Level you will learn through a mixture of lectures, internet-based research and group activities, as well as fieldwork sessions both on the South Devon College conservation site and trips further afield. You will be required to participate fully in class discussions and activities and there will also be opportunities to debate current environmental topics in lessons. There is an emphasis on the application of the underlying scientific knowledge to a variety of situations, therefore you will be exploring case studies of environmental issues from within the UK and around the globe.

  • You must have a GCSE Grade C in Maths
  • You must have a GCSE Grade B in English
  • You must have a GCSE grade B in this subject or Double Science
