Communication, the Internet, mobile phones, art, music, celebrity, fashion, identity, graffiti, comedy, social media, shopping, possessions, transportation, values, friends, sport, gigs, holidays, tattoos, festivals, self-expression, you, gaming, family, body language, food, films, going out, hobbies, television, advertising, hairstyles, literature, technology, culture. Right between the concepts of communication and culture there’s you. This course places you – and the things that you do and experience every day – at the centre of your studies: Who are you? How do you make sense of yourself in today’s world? How do you use culture to express yourself and communicate to others about your identity? These are the core elements of this course.
