Course description

Basic engineering drawing, measuring and marking out, knowledge of engineering materials and handling of engineering information, fitting using hand skills, producing sheet metal components and assemblies and a range of welding techniques.

Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship

Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Fabrication & Welding
Level 3 Technical Certificate
Functional Skills, Level 2 in Maths, English, ICT
Entry to Higher Education or a Degree in Engineering is also possible from the Advanced Level Apprenticeship.
