You will study various modules including:

Culture and identity, Families and Households, Wealth, Poverty and Welfare

Education, Health, Sociological methods

Contemporary society

Beliefs in Society, Global Development, Mass Media, Power &Politics.

Social Stratification with research methods or Crime and Deviance with research methods.

Entry requirements

GCSE sociology is not a prerequisite for A level, but ‘art’ based subjects will equip the student with the necessary skills for this course. Also students are expected to have the minimum of a B grade in GCSE English.
