Extended Diploma in Business Level 3 at West Kent College

Course description

Prepare for a career in the key business disciplines of finance, human resources, management or marketing.

This coursework-assessed qualification will introduce you to the main business disciplines. You will explore business activity, resources, communication and marketing and choose from optional units, which include:

• Developing and planning a career in business
• Contract and business law
• Business and the economic environment
• Business ethics
• Teamwork in business

Entry requirements

You will need five GCSEs at Grades A*-C/9-4, including English, maths and a related subject. Alternatively, a Level 2 First Diploma in Business at Merit or Distinction, with a Grade C/4 GCSE in English and maths.

Mature learners will be considered with regard to relevant experience.

Future opportunities

Move straight into employment in your specialist area or progress to higher education such as a Business degree.
