Mathematics A Level at Carr Hill High School and Sixth Form Centre

Course description

In Pure Mathematics you will extend your knowledge of algebra and trigonometry as well as learning new ideas such as Calculus.

In Mechanics you will study the motion of objects and how they respond to forces acting upon them.

In Statistics you will learn to analyse and summarise data as well as extending the range of probability problems studied at GCSE.

In Decision mathematics you will be introduced to modern techniques with applications in industry, business and computing.

Entry requirements

GCSE grade B or above in Mathematics is essential.
