When you read the newspapers or watch television you are presented with economic issues daily because Economics is all around us. If it involves money or resources and how to use them, then it is an economic problem and understanding these problems is central to understanding worldwide issues such as congestion, unemployment, poverty, transport and much much more.


Course content

You will study subjects such as unemployment, recession, inflation etc. and discover the theoretical principles to help you to answer important and fascinating questions regarding a variety of social and economic issues such as poverty, the environment, developing countries, transport and European Politics.

Entry requirements

You will need to meet the standard college entry criteria for AS/A2 courses. You will also need a grade C in GCSE Maths.
