Electrical Installation Diploma Level 1 at North Kent College

Course description

This course is designed for students who wish to gain relevant skills and knowledge of the Electrical Installation Industry.

Course content

This one year course is designed for students wishing to gain employment in the Electrical Installation industry. The programme includes basic electrical theory and practice together with industrial studies and functional skills (English and Maths).

 

Entry requirements

Minimum 4 GCSE's Grade D or above, including Maths, English and Science, or NVQ Performing Engineering Operations Level 1 or equivalent.  A good command of English Language is needed.  In addition, all students will be interviewed and must provide a copy of an up-to-date school report.

Assessment

Portfolio of Evidence, practical demonstration/assignment, practical examination.

Progression onto the Electrical Installation Level 2 Diploma, Apprenticeship or employment.
