Graphics GCSE at The Beacon School

Course description

The Graphic Products course will help you to develop your fundamental design skills, whilst also giving you the creative edge. The course is focused around the packaging and promotion of an existing product. Students aim to create effective packaging for a chosen item.

Future opportunities

You could take this course to prepare for advanced level courses such as an A/AS Level in Design and Technology or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification. With further training, you could go into a job related to Design and Technology and Electronics such as an Technician, Electrician or Design Engineer. You could also go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of your employer.
