Hairdressing Level 1 Diploma at West Cheshire College

Course description

Looking to launch your career as a Hairdresser? With our help you’ll gain the skills, experience and confidence you need to choose the right path in the hair industry. This fascinating course is an intensive and practical hairdressing course, designed to cater for students with little or no knowledge of the hairdressing profession. Delivered over three days a week by highly qualified educators, you will learn basic and up to date hairdressing skills along with theory knowledge.  We ensure each individual receives the correct amount of hairdressing training according to their individual needs and guarantees direction and support throughout the training.  It also allows for the personal requirements of each student to be recognised very quickly; meaning you are taught accordingly.  Your age and experience is immaterial.  Your enthusiasm, interest in the profession and your willingness to change your career will ensure that you progress towards gaining your Level 1 Hairdressing qualification.  You will train in a realistic salon environment and gain skills in styling women’s hair.  You will undertake a basic cutting programme whilst presenting a professional image in the salon.  On completion of this course you will be able to progress on to a relevant Level 2 hair, barbering or beauty programme of study.
