Religious Studies at Cottingham High School
Religious Education is about life, diversity and culture; it is relevant, lively, sometimes controversial and creative.
It gives you the opportunity to consider culture and provides a fresh understanding of the world. You develop skills for future study, discussion and debate; skills for careers working with other people.
This course encourages you to develop your interest in a study of religion and its relation to the wider world, adopt an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of religion and to reflect on and develop your own values, opinions and attitudes.
GCSE’s at grade A*-C are generally required.
