Plumbing Level 3 Diploma at Epping Forest College
The course provides you with the required practical and theoretical tuition. There are a number of practical tasks that you will need to carry out during the year. This is combined with a high level of underpinning knowledge in workshop/site safety and plumbing technology. It is approximately 50/50 theory/practical.

English & Maths is included as part of your study programme at EFC. All students will be working towards a GCSE Grade C in English Language & Maths alongside their chosen subject. If you’ve already achieved these grades, we will work with you to develop your literacy and numeracy skills further throughout the year.
You will have the opportunity to undertake relevant work experience throughout your programme. Your tutor will help you identify the employability skills you need toimprove, and our dedicated work experience team will help find a placement that’s right for you.
Successful completion of Level 2 qualification in Plumbing
Students undertake practical and theory units assessments throughout the year. For practical this will take the form of completing a task portfolio and in theory students will be required to sit both paper based and on line City ad Guilds examinations during their learning programme Students will l take approximately 14 technical examinations during your course, The study methods include practical workshops and formal classroom sessions, student-centred learning and private study.
Working within the industry (Apprenticeship) to further gain experience and knowledge.
