Religious Studies - Philosophy and Ethics at Cardinal Newman Catholic School
Philosophy and Ethics helps you to develop a language and a thought pattern to use to reflect more deeply on major life issues. Philosophy asks questions about the meaning and purpose of living. Ethics asks questions about how we ought to live and why.
This course allows you to go right to the heart of current philosophical and ethical debate. Examples of issues include those relating to genetic engineering and whether humans have free will. The course is helpful for those considering careers in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Business Studies, Theology and the Police. It is relevant to any course or career that involves decision-making about people and thinking through issues in depth.
The equivalent of atleast five GCSEs at grade C or above
