You will complete a wide variety of assignments and can be assessed in a number of different ways. Those being: practical demonstrations, written booklets, video clips, verbal presentations
Assessment for this course is based on the achievement of specified outcomes and will be internally assessed and externally verified. Each unit will be awarded a Pass, Merit or Distinction and attributed a certain number of points. The final grade will be based on the total number of points gained over the seven units. This grade will either be a Pass (equivalent to an E at A Level), a Merit (equivalent to a C), a Distinction (equivalent to an A) or a Distinction* (Equivalent to an A*).
The course aims to provide you with skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career within the broad field of Sport. BTEC Sport will not only lead to employment but can open the door to University, studying Leisure and Recreation and Sports Related Degrees.
