Religious Studies A Level at Trinity Church of England School, Belvedere
Students will study Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. Students will debate some ‘big’ questions, find answers for some and ponder more about others. Topics like ‘what is the greatest good for the greatest number?’ and ‘how did the world come into existence?’ allows for in depth discussion and argument with students being able to explore different answers and their own beliefs and viewpoints.
This is ideal for students who wish to go on to study law, journalism or theology or wish for a career such in the armed forces or as a social worker.
5 A* - C including at least a C grade in RE and English. The subject is essay based with an emphasis also on verbal contributions.
