Course description

Who are Management and Leadership qualifications for?

ILM Level 3 Diploma in Management will allow practising first line managers to develop their management skills knowledge and behaviours in a more flexible and practical way related to today’s leadership and management practices were varied and non routine management tasks are required by first line managers within a defined area of responsibility, some limited opportunity for taking decisions, managing budgets and responsibility for achieving specific results by using resources effectively through allocating work to team members, colleagues or contractors.

The ILM Level 4 Apprenticeship in Management is ideal for managers aged 19+ already in or moving into a middle management position, who still retain responsibility for operational processes but are more removed from day to day line management duties. 

The above qualifications are FREE of charge to anyone who is progressing from an advanced qualification or undertaking a qualification for the first time. Aditionally, employees must have already achieved or be working at Functional Skills Level 2 in both English and maths.

Employees must work more than 16hrs per week, not have a degree and are not currently in full time education.

The qualification develops the knowledge and skills required to take on higher level responsibilities such as planning and implementing change.
