A. Level Sociology produces some of the best results at Walker Technology College, including its first A*. It is suited to students who are interested in social issues, have a strong opinion and wish to discover why society exists in its present form. Sociology is about how societies work, how people live together and how they sometimes come into conflict. It is also about what brings change in societies. This course studies current issues of the day such as race, class and gender differences. As a Sociology student you will begin to look at ordinary daily life through different eyes and challenge preconceived ideas.
