ICT at Lincoln Christ's Hospital School

Course description

The GCE Information and Communication Technology from AQA is a revised course based on the new four unit structure. The aim of the course is to help students who wish to go on to Higher Education courses or employment where understanding how ICT can be used in society and business, and the implications of its use, will be a valuable asset. At AS Level two units are studied. At A2 Level a further two units are studied (four units in total).

A qualification in ICT combines well with many subjects, including those that would benefit from an ability to obtain, manipulate, present and communicate information. It also goes well with subjects that contain analytical, scientific and technological aspects.

Entry requirements
