Government and Politics A Level at Welling School Specialist Art College
This course examines the structures of authority and power in the UK – legislature, executive and judiciary – and how these differ from those of other political systems. You will develop an awareness of the nature of politics and the relationship between political ideas, institutions and processes. You will also develop an understanding of the ideologies of the political parties in the UK and America.
English Language GCSE, B Grade or above. Ideally a GCSE, above Grade B in History or Geography and an active interest in political affairs.
