Site Carpentry - Level 3 Diploma (CSkills) at Blackpool and The Fylde College

Course description

You will undertake complex structural carcassing and maintenance of both structural and non structural components. You will also undertake the following core modules; health and safety, analysing building technology and analysing communications.

Course content

50% practical and 50% theory over the year. You will continue to develop skills relevant to site carpentry and carry out safe working practices in construction.


You will have a mix of assessments which includeongoing measuring of your  practical skills which take place in the skills centre and measuring your theory knowledge which will be classroom based.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress onto either full time employment or Degree level study. A Qualified carpenter can earn between £15,000 - £30,000 a year. Some previous learners have progressed into full employment in local companies.
