Business Administration - Apprenticeship Level 2 at KYP Training Services

Course description

What will it cover?

It gives you the opportunity to develop and demonstrate a broad set of administrative skills and knowledge such as awareness of different organisational structures and environment, appropriate use of different forms of communication, preparation of business documents, supporting meetings, managing information and diary systems.  You will develop an understanding of the principles of working in a business administrative environment.


  • Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
  • Employer Rights and Responsibilities
  • Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT at Level 1 (unless you already have GCSE A*-C)

Course content

How will I learn?

Off- the- Job – this involves working with your assessor, completing assignments or activities and collecting work evidence. These will enable you to fit your learning activities into a set of standards which have been designed by the industry.

On-the-Job – this means spending at least 4 days a week with your employer learning how to do the job with support and direction from your employer.

Future opportunities

Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration, the opportunity to progress into roles with additional responsibilities e.g. personal assistant, Administrative Officer, Business Development Executive, Project Officer (etc).
