What will I learn?
The Retail Apprenticeship is made up of three key elements:
- A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
- Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT
- Technical Certificate
This is a full-time, permanent work-based Apprenticeship in Retail. You enjoy on-the-job training towards nationally recognised qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, guided by our professional assessors who provide one-to-one support and advice throughout your programme.
You usually start your training at Level 2, depending on your qualifications and ability. We identify this at your initial assessment.
What skills will I gain?
The course content covers the following subject areas:
- Receive and store goods
- Process customer orders and returns
- Prepare goods and produce for sale
- Display and merchandise stock
- Help customers to make purchases
- Manage customer relationships
Who should apply?
Anyone can apply for this course who is interested in a retail career path.As long as you are aged 16 to 64 and not in full-time education at the time you want to start your Apprenticeship we can help. You might already have a job and be looking for work-based training, or you might want to find a job that comes with training through esg.
