Mathematics at Denbigh School

Course description

You would be suitable for this course if you are interested in taking GCSE Mathematics topics into more depth and drawing upon a range of techniques to solve more difficult and unstructured problems. The course also introduces new areas of mathematics and uses applications to model and solve ‘real world’ situations. Modules include

  • Concepts for Advanced Mathematics
  • Applications of Advanced Mathematics

  • Entry requirements

    Mathematics at post-16 level is best suited to students who have gained a grade B or above at GCSE Higher tier. Students need to achieve a B in GCSE Mathematics to take A Level Mathematics.
