Level 1 Trowel Occupations - Bricklaying NVQ/Diploma Apprenticeship (Full Framework) at Floortrain GB Ltd
The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. This Level 1 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in bricklaying to demonstrate their competence.
As part of this course you will be studying towards the following:
- Level 1 Trowel Occupations NVQ
- Functional Skills in Application of Number and Communications
- Employers Rights & Responsibilities (ERR)
To achieve this qualification a minimum of 47 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 4 mandatory units plus units from 1 optional unit group(s) .
QCF01 Conforming to General Safety in the Workplace
QCF03 Moving and Handling Resources in the Workplace
QCF36 Preparing and Mixing Concrete and Mortars in the Workplace
QCF37 Laying Bricks and Blocks to Line in the Workplace
You must be aged 16 or over. Candidates must be living in England and not taking part in full-time education. Candidates must be employed in an appropriate job role and able to attend college on block release.
You will be required to complete 8 multiple choice unit end tests and 1 synoptic practical test at the end of your qualification.
You will be required to complete an online mulitple choice test.
You will be required to complete 3 online mulitple choice tests in:
On successful completion of the course students will be able to work full-time within the construction industry or study a specialised trade at a Level 2.
