Course content

The course is highly practical and the emphasis is on enabling students to gain as much hands-on experience as possible; students are involved in the day-to-day caring of the horses in the yard. we welcome anyone who wishes to explore the possibility of working with horses or who is interested in studying equine-related subjects in higher education, such as Horse Psychology or Equine Science.

The course is taught predominantly from a private yard which houses a variety of horses: ex-racehorses, eventers and show jumpers. If you are considering either a career in the equine sector or a related higher education pathway, then this course will be of great value.
