Level 2 Apprenticeship - Hairdressing at E Quality Training Ltd

Course description

Students attend training one day per week.  Both practical aspects and underpinning knowledge of hairdressing are taugh using variety of teaching methods. 

Course content

The Level 2 in Hairdressing enables you to gain a job-ready qualification based on National Occupational Standards for Hairdressing at Level 2.

This qualification will equip learners with the required skills, knowledge and understanding needed to perform professional hairdressing services for clients via employment or self-employment in the Hairdressing industry.

Entry requirements

Level 1 Hairdressing or Level 1 Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy qualification or 4 GCSEs at grades A* to C including English Language or equivalent.

Mature applicants may have to undertake a English and Maths assessment if they are unable to produce evidence of entry requirements.

Financial information

Employers will pay the NWM for apprentices per hour. Please see the direct.gov website for this up to date information.

If you are 16-19, then your course is fully-funded.

Future opportunities

For this qualification, we can move into employment as well as on to another related vocational course or progress to Higher Education. This courses is ideal if you have a burning ambition to work in the Hairdressing industry.
