Course description

This programme offers comprehensive theoretical and practical training in horticulture, including work experience, to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to work in positions of responsibility in the industry.

  • Horticultural business management

  • Principles of garden design
  • Landscape construction
  • Plant health and protection
  • English and Maths, as required.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grades A* to C, preferably including English and maths, or a relevant BTEC level two / first diploma or equivalent. One satisfactory reference is also needed.

Future opportunities

The College also runs degree courses in Garden Design and Horticulture for those who want more advanced studies.
