Psychology A Level is of interest to students both of the sciences and the humanities. Psychology is the study of human behaviour, experiences and the mind and uses scientific methodology.

Entry requirements

No previous study of Psychology is required but students will normally be required to have a Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. It is also desirable to have a good general knowledge and an interest in current affairs.

Assessment

Assessment is by means of written examination only at the end of a two year course. There are three exams (each 2 hours in length), each worth 33.3% of the A Level.
