Course description

This QCF Certificate is assessed in your own workplace and you will be allocated an The Mandatory units are manage you own resources and professional development, provide leadership in your area of responsibility, allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your area of responsibility, and ensure health and safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility. The qualification is carried out with an E-portfolio. In addition to the Diploma, you will also be required to complete functional skills in English and Maths at level 1, an Employment Rights and Responsibilities workbook and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Course content

The Level 3 QCF Certificate in Management has been specially designed for first line managers with responsibility for; managing budgets, allocating work to team members, colleagues or contractors, achieving specific results and for some decision making. The qualification aims to give participants an opportunity to develop their management performance, become more effective and to progress their career

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you need to have good general skills of English, Maths and ICT. You also need to be working in a real working environment as a Supervisor or Manager. This QCF is often a progression route from the Team Leading Certificate at level 2 or the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Team Leading

Financial information

For learners aged up to 24, the Skills Funding Agency requires Acacia Training to choose Advanced Apprenticeship funding over any other form of funding where there is a choice. The Advanced Apprenticeship is now available for all ages (subject to eligibility) and is made up of a framework of the QCF Diploma, Functional Skills at the appropriate level, and an Employment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook. To access this funding via Acacia Training, applicants must be working under contract of employment with a local employer in the South West Region. For learners aged 24+ this Advanced Apprenticeship is no longer government funded. However, Acacia Training can access 24+ Advanced learner loans to pay for this training, subject to eligibility. The price will beĀ£2300 +VAT with no functional skillsĀ£2500 +VAT with ICT functional skill
