Course description

Course content

Course Themes:

• Provide hairdressing consultation services • Contemporary and advanced cutting techniques • Creative hairdressing skills • Colour correction services • Perm hair using a variety of techniques • Colour hair using a variety of techniques • Support customer service improvements • Human resource management • Promotional activities • Style and dress hair to achieve a variety of creative looks • Bridal hair • Work related experience or placement • English and maths provision where applicable

Entry requirements

Usually at least 4 GCSEs at grade C or above to include any 2 from English, Maths and Science with at least a grade D in the remaining subject. Alternatively a suitable level 2 vocational qualification (Merit or above) with English and Maths at Level 2
