Mathematics GCSE at Bishop Stopford's School

Course description

Many careers ask for qualifications in specific subjects, and GCSE passes in English Language and mathematics at grades A* to C are essential for most higher education courses and many other opportunities.

Lessons in English and mathematics are timetabled within the Level 2 programme. Students must understand that attendance at the re-sit lessons remains compulsory until the receipt of a pass grade in the results. This is to maximise opportunities for the future since it allows those students who are not successful to take the exam again in the Summer sessions.
