Film Studies (AS/A2) at The Bewdley School and Sixth form Centre
Film Studies is designed to deepen your understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of film, the major art form of the twentieth century. The course builds on your experience of film that you have developed informally since childhood.
Film Studies is a subject that by its nature requires candidates to consider individual, moral, ethical, social, cultural and contemporary issues.
Minimum of 5 A*-C grades at GCSE level
A grade C in English, and preferably Literature. You do not need to have taken Film Studies at GCSE.
