Course description

This Apprenticeship comprises of a number of units including Evaluate and improve own performance in a business environment Work in a business environment Communicate in a business environment Manage own performance in a business environment In addition to the Diploma, you will also be required to complete functional skills in English and Maths at level 1, an Employment Rights and Responsibilities workbook and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be able to demonstrate your competence in a real working environment. This QCF Diploma is often a progression route from the NVQ or new QCF Certificate at Level 2

Financial information

For learners aged up to 24, the Skills Funding Agency requires Acacia Training to choose Advanced Apprenticeship funding over any other form of funding where there is a choice. The Advanced Apprenticeship is now available for all ages (subject to eligibility) and is made up of a framework of the QCF Diploma, Functional Skills at the appropriate level, and an Employment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook.

To access this funding via Acacia Training, applicants must be working under contract of employment with a local employer in the South West Region.


For learners aged 24+ this Advanced Apprenticeship is no longer government funded. However, Acacia Training can access 24+ Advanced learner loans to pay for this training, subject to eligibility.

The price will be

£2250 +VAT with no functional skills

£2450 +VAT including ICT functional skils
